Just bring their food fast please

We have been trying to keep the kids busy the last few days. Yesterday Number 1 son went for walk, a bike ride and for a swim. We tried to find a playground to take the kids to but this has proved difficult. The only place we could find a playground that the kids were allowed to play on was at McDonalds. The kids didn't seem to mind this too much.

Today we took them to Kid City. It's a city that is built closer to the size of children. The doors are shorter, the roads are smaller and the best part is the little building have air conditioning. I know that has nothing to do with the kids part but it made it barable for the adults. Dexter loved working at the McDonalds and he really loved selling me a house. One of his first questions when selling me the house was what color I wanted it. The twins really like the cars that they could drive and spent the majority of the time getting in and out of them. The whole place was really ghetto from an adult point of view but luckily the children seemed to have a good time.

After we left Kid City we went in search of somewhere to eat. The babies were crying at this point which is always wonderful when you are in a town that you do not know. It's really easy to ignore them and pay attention to traffic and look for restaurants at the same time.

We found an IHOP and went in. We were told that it would be a 15-20 minute wait but we really only had to wait about 2-3 minutes because the people in front of us left and we got there table. The women took our order very quickly but the food was taking awhile. The only thing better than people telling you that you must have your hands full is having two 19 month olds trying to crawl under your skin while the are screaming. But luckily the food got there and everything worked out.

A women commented on how well behaved my children are. I thanked her but knew that she must have only made it to the restaurant after the children had recieved their food.
