Baby girl and Middle child have had an explosion of language lately. They went from saying next to nothing, to naming everything around them. Their pronunciation gets clearer everyday but they are also only 21 months old and somethings are clear to us and mean something else to others.

Baby girl loves ducks and books. The only problem is that she pronounces both of them like, "cock."

Mommy: "Say book."

Baby girl: "Cock."

Mommy: "No. Book!:

Baby girl: "Cock."

Mommy: "Noooo! Book. B. B. B. Book."

Baby girl: "Cock."

By this time I just give up and try a new strategy.

Mommy: "Say, ball."
